Welcome to streamline simulation project.
Current porject status :
- Future work: Fully miscible gas in oil WAG simulation algorythm
- Working on: Full scale simulations
- Working on: Wettability effets
- Working on: Determining zone of application of streamline simulator with capillary forces
- New streamline tracing routine (by Kristian Jessen, SUPRI-C, Stanford), new saturation step algorythm
- Rock wettability can vary in different grid blocks form -1 ("oil wet") to 1 ("water wet")
- Time step can now be rejected if the mass ballance error is bigger than user specified value
- Modification of the time step selection and mass ballance routine
- Introduction of the capillary forces into the saturation equation. Operator splitting solution with
Gravity and capillary forces accounted for on the finite difference grid.
- Modification of the pressure equation with capillary forces to improve stability, quality and robustness of the
method. Patent pending.
- Introduction of the capillary forces into the pressure equation
- Basic code : 3DSL 0.25 by R. Batycky, SUPRI-C, Department of petroleum univercity, Stanford
